About the Film Maker
Trevor Knapp Jones, a navy brat, grew up all over the United States but most recently Albuquerque NM. He currently attends the California Institute of the Arts (Calarts) as a 3rd year in the school's Character Animation Program. “My Grandfather’s Ship” was completed May of 2011 at the end of his third year at Calarts. Synopsis
When Brendan's Grandfather passes away, he goes on an incredible journey into the deepest depths of his soul to mend the broken piece his grandfather left behind. This is the second film from the award winning film maker, Trevor Knapp Jones and incorporates elements of stop motion and traditional animation.
